ArtPuff Workshops

Artpuff is a groovy new little showing and making space, launched in late 2021. Run by artists Kir Larwill and Melissa Proposch, and located at the Mill in Castlemaine, Artpuff houses beautifully curated exhibitions and immersive classes in one inspired footprint.

Workshops, both book-ahead and chalkboard signup (join in on the day!), will be held at Artpuff throughout Arts Open. Our workshops are welcoming, absorbing and suit all levels of experience, 16 years+

Trace Balla

Hatch a Story, Catch a Story – Cartoon Session

Inspire Trace to create a cartoon strip – on a large scale live projection from your ideas…

She will throw in a few cartooning tips as she draws… and then make a start on your own cartoon – Trace Balla is a much loved local children’s book author and illustrator. A selfdescribed ‘story catcher’ she finds inspiration in nature and incorporates local plant and animal species into her detailed, cartoon-style drawings.
