My art practice is centred around the flow of energy, whether this is in everyday life, nature or spiritual influence. I use acrylics creating my own blends of colours, adding glaze for layers and texture. The types of brushes I use vary as do the strokes creating lines, swirls and spirals of varying sizes with a variety of marks for emphasis or subtlety. There is movement of feelings within each piece.

I am constantly inspired by other artists who sit in their own freedom exploring. I gain insights from the subjects, colours, textures and designs they bring into focus, allowing me to enquire about the moods and emotions I feel when observing and feeling into their individual pieces art. I often use symbols of the ocean, the breeze, shells, sea creatures, and flowers as they weave into each other in the dance and movement of my imagination.

My philosophy is that when I create and share openly, I am somehow part of the evolution of this era of art in a new, exciting and expansive way. Like all artists my contribution may inspire some more than others, which is an awakening of awareness and growth of my work. It creates a strength in my pieces as they represent who I am and the energy focused within me.
