Jane Rusden

A fascination with wilderness, both local and remote, underpins Jane Rusden's work. Combining Zoology and art she immerses herself in the landscape by walking, sketching and recording bird lists. Working on paper in watercolour, drawing and printmaking, often using multiple mediums at once, her images are experimental, loose and suggestive of landscape, as well as highly detailed scientific or botanical art.
