Diana Orinda Burns is an artist who is primarily concerned with process and the evolution of ideas.
In the last twenty years she has explored the surfaces of collagraph plates and designed her own printed circuit boards, providing a matrix of textures to print. Her process has been one of using many layers, one on top of the other.
Working as a custom printer for Ken McGregor and Block Projects, she has printed work for many Western Desert Artists, Archibald Finalists, and for the late John Olsen.
Her weekly printmaking class for the past twenty years has fostered many artists in the Castlemaine region, as does her work at Castlemaine Press.
Diana works are held in major Art Institutions in Australia and Overseas.
